About Us

The goal of this website is to use short stories to promote the basic beliefs that Jesus taught.

How does the writing of stories fit into the equation? The art of writing about the Lord and His teachings in the Bible can be viewed as a ministry.  The Lord often told stories, which He called parables, to get His message out to His sheep about how He wanted them to live their lives.

For more information about these beliefs you may contact Pastor Caleb Azure or Pastor Kirk Leach at Bethel Baptist Church at http://www.bethelgb.org

BASIC BELIEFS

1. THE WORD OF GOD. We believe the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired
and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the
Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. II
Timothy 3:16,17; II Peter 1:21; John 10:35; I Corinthians 2: 12,13; Hebrews 1:1,2;
Mark 12:36; Acts 3:18.

2. THE TRINITY. We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing in
three persons, God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit; that these are equal
in every Divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in
the work of creation, providence and redemption. Matthew 3:16,17; John 14:16,17;
John 15:26; Hebrews 9:14; I Corinthians 12:4-6; Ephesians 2:13,18; Jude 20,21.

3.GOD THE FATHER. We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit,

perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself
mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He
saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. Mark 12:29;
John 1:1-4; Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 5:30,31; II Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:3;
Revelation 1:4-6; I Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 1:17-20.

4. JESUS CHRIST. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived
by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and
teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection,
ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and visible return to
earth. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; I Corinthians 15:1-4; II Corinthians 5:19,20;
Hebrews 7:25-27; John 14:1-3; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:4-6.
